Diaphragm pumps are popular in industrial applications such as chemical dosing. They have a long history of use in water and wastewater treatment and can also be found in food processing, pharmaceutical, and petroleum operations.
Why such versatility? These metering pumps tend to be robust, working for long stretches between maintenance. They do not have internal components that rub against one another or cause friction. They also:
Deliver high accuracy
Handle viscous liquids
Can achieve high pressures
Typically offer good suction lift
Diaphragm pumps are available in a wide range of control options. These include manual, analogue, flow proportioning, computer or PLC; ATEX versions are also available.
Some PVC models are ideal for pumping sodium hydroxide or sulfuric acids in low concentrations, and hydrochloric acids in low concentrations. Stainless steel versions move acetic acids and lithium chlorides. Check materials to determine chemical compatibility.
Kecol offer different pumps for different applications
